Through C3 Beyond, our vision is to reach beyond ourselves, connect with individuals and partner with others in our local community. We aim to meet practical, emotional and spiritual needs in North Canberra and to help others connect with Jesus.
Our vision is realised through various projects, for example:
The Christians Against Poverty (CAP) Money Course teaches people from all walks of life how to create a budget, manage their finances and prevent debt (www.capmoney.org).
The Nourish Team provide home-cooked meals for church and community members wherever there’s an immediate or critical need.
Angie Hazlehurst is a qualified counsellor and family therapist, providing individual, couples and family counselling services to C3 Church members on a fee for service basis. Appointments are made directly with Angie by phoning 0439 306 080 (www.angiehazlehurst.com.au).
For more information about these initiatives, or to get involved, please contact the church office.
We belong to a church-planting movement and believe that planting a church in a community is the most effective way to bring the gospel to that place.
In December 2013 we sent Nathan and Lisa Oliver and their three children, Samara, Toby and Evie, to Edinburgh to plant a local church. This church continues to grow and thrive and impact the Edinburgh community with the life giving message of Jesus Christ.
